Today brings us to the final day of our anniversary release! The co-updater joining me today is one of our scanners and QCers who has worked on several of our projects, most notably Kamichama Karin Chu. She has seen Robert Pattinson live in person, loves sushi and often goes through three outfit changes in the morning in order to decide what to wear for the day. Anyway, I'll now present to you... inn0cent_b, a.k.a Ino-chan. Welcome to day 4 of our anniversary release~ ^^ I'm back today with a co-updater~ Today's co-updater is one of our translators who has worked on various projects such as Kamichama Karin, Kamichama Karin Chu and Galaxy Angel. He likes all things cute and collects Pinkys... So I'd now like to introduce you all to ceressculd, or Aya-chan as I have nicknamed him~ ^^ Kokoro-chan: So Aya-chan... can you cook as well as Najika-chan? XD ceressculd: Hehe... Okay... there's no co-updater today because well... quite frankly the majority of my staff don't particularly like Never Give Up ^^;; That being said, we *really* need editors for Never Give Up! The staff members who worked on the project when we initially picked it up are no longer active, thus the lack of Never Give Up releases ._. Several of my staff have actually suggested that we drop the project, but bI'm somewhat OCD when it comes to finishing projects so I don't like dropping a project unless we really have to. So, if you want to see more Never Give Up releases, then *please* consider applying as staff and check out our recruitment forum. Happy Lunar New Year! May the year of the ox be full of health, happiness and prosperity!~ ^^ (...My Viet friends always get annoyed when I say "Chinese New Year"... so yeah... ...I opted to use "Lunar New Year" to be politically correct =X) The lunar new year also coincides with Australia Day this year so Happy Australia Day too~ XD (Even though it's already the 27th in Australia =X) So, in order to commemorate the occasion, we're releasing our newest project -- Naki Shoujo no Tame no Pavane! » Naki Shoujo no Tame no Pavane, Volume 01 Chapter 01 There's also a translation note page at the start of the chapter... I made it a separate page rather than sticking the note at the bottom of the same page because I didn't want to ruin the pretty double colour page, lol. Naki Shoujo no Tame no Pavane is a mystery romance series by Koge Donbo. A summary of the plot can be found on its project page. Although chapter 1 was scanned from the Comic Blade magazine, the quality is still really good. We're currently trying to get a copy of the volume 1 tank, but for some reason Kino doesn't have it... I think Wa-chan has to special order it in or something ~.~ Recruitment for Chinese to English translators is now closed, however we are still recruiting editors and Japanese to English translators! So if you want faster releases, join out staff and help us out~ More information regarding the positions can be found in our recruitment forum. The content on the missing page isn't particularly detrimental to the storyline so everything still makes sense without it, which is why we didn't notice it was missing until after the release ^^;; Anyway, Syuura apologises for any inconvenience caused. I had this huge mass-release planned... but of course the universe is punishing/conspiring against me or something since stuff came up which unfortunately ruined those plans. We do however have two chapters of Kamichama Karin Chu for you guys today. » Kamichama Karin Chu, Volume 06 Chapter 20 » I know it's only two releases (especially compared to last year's mass-release) but we still struggled to get these two chapters out... Ino-chan stayed up late the last few nights to be on stand-by to QC for me, I harassed Kerri so much by e-mailing her translation questions every two hours & then she would reply like 10 minutes later and Mikochi's editing was awesome as it always is since she went on an editing marathon and plowed stright through all the editing, lol.
